Laura Vitcova was born and raised in Northern California and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a poet, visual artist, and musician. Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Writing at Pacific University. She was a finalist for the 2025 NORward Prize. Felled, her debut chapbook, was published in 2025 by Finishing Line Press. Her poems have appeared in publications such as The Shore, Blue Review, Arts & Letters, New Ohio Review, and more. In her spare time, she travels with a camera, volunteers, sings, and hikes with her little scruffy dog, Eli.
